... a LOT of potential, in fact. (As you might guess, there is a "BUT" associated with that statement.)
To get a non-blurry photo, you really do need to wait until the processing bar appears. Remember, this app has to take three photos in quick succession. If you move the camera too soon, at least one of those will be out-of-focus, and result in blur. The interface could — and probably should — be tweaked to produce a more intuitive experience.
Although the app may take, and process, three full resolution photos, in my tests the output seems to be locked at a maximum of 3.2 megapixels. While starting from full-scale images and then reducing the resolution is one quick way to ensure a better alignment of the components, it feels like a cheat to claim "Full 8 megapixel resolution" when the end product is LESS THAN HALF of that. There should, at a minimum, be a user setting to adjust the output size; Ive found none.
